Our 3 lb "Saskatraz" honeybee packages come from a well-known package bee supplier, "Olivarez Honey Bees" in Northern California.  Saskatraz breeder queens are selected for honey production, wintering ability, varroa tolerance/resistance and brood diseases.  These bees have been out for several years now and have proven to be very good in this area.   We will have a limited number this year, so order early!  Price is lower than 2022.

Bee package warranty:
Check your package before leaving our store.  If you have questions about the package, we will try to help if time allows.  If you find a dead queen when installing your package, we will give you another free queen provided you return the dead queen in an untampered with, queen cage.  Queens can die, it can happen, but infrequently.  We are not responsible for how you handle your package once you leave our location!


Our packages are certified from the State of California to be Hive Beetle Free!
Packages will be delivered in the recyclable plastic "Bee Bus,"

Bees will be picked up at our facility by appointment only, due to Covid-19 issues.  We will contact you closer to pickup date to schedule a time for pickup!

Please check our website periodically for any updates or delays due to weather, we will not call you, updates will appear here if there are any!

Please note that we do not ship bees. Bees will be added to your cart but will not be available for pickup until the date selected! Also, all packages must be paid when ordering, (not paid on pickup)!

I have been a beekeeper for 25 years and last year I purchased the Italian bees from California. They arrived in early April and have never had the success as I did with these bees. The two packages were the strongest and most productive that I have ever purchased. I am going to expand with two more hives this year because of the success I had last year with bees from California. I harvested two medium supers of honey from each hive. They may cost a little more but in the end well worth the investment.
