Bee hives are made from kiln-dried white pine with box joint corners. Stapled with 2 inch staples so hive will not come apart.
This complete bee hive consists of :
- 1 - Screened bottom board
- 1 - Mouse guard entrance reducer
- 3 - medium hive bodies (Boxes 6 5/8") (Brood)
- 1 - medium supers (Boxes 6 5/8") (Honey)
- 40 - medium waxed one-piece plastic frames
- 1 - inner cover
- 1 - telescoping cover with metal top
This hive setup comes completely assembled.
Also available - hot wax treated, boiled in paraffin wax to remove moisture from wood, for $40 additional (quantities may be limited). Water will bead off the wood and not penetrate, so no chance of rot or bugs destroying hive. No need to paint.
In-store pickup only due to excess size and weight.
