The Patriot 0.15 joule Solar charger is great  for energizing electric fencing for your apiary.  This self contained unit with an internal 6 volt rechargeable battery provides up to 14+ days operation without sunlight. It has a flashing light to indicate that the fence is energized.  It is designed to deliver charge even under heavy load such as foliage or undergrowth. Rated for up to 10 miles/40 acres
